American 1885. Hand lettered, stencilled lithograph behind glass. Marked lower left corner, "Copyright 1886 and published by ROOT and TURNER, Tribune building, New York". Lettered, "Lamb's Horse Powder for Cough". An amusing Victorian period hand-lettered and stencilled horse racing lithograph featuring "Freeland" horse. Horse-themed lithograph cleverly compliments the product. 33" x 23" x 2.25". Retained in original frame. Frame was professionally sealed. The border stains, particularly upper left quarter, have not affected the painted lettering and stencilling. Est. $400-600
