We Sell Your Toys
Overview
From dolls and stuffed animals to trains and race cars, there is evidence that children have been playing with toys for the entirety of human history. Although we’ve come a long way from prehistoric toys carved from stone and clay, the basic premise of a ‘toy’ has remained the same for centuries. Collectible toys are destined to change from generation to generation, as collectors often look to their specific experiences and feelings of nostalgia when seeking toys. Vintage toys from the early-mid 1900s are especially popular at the moment, many of which reflect the ‘booms’ of the era such as the automobile boom (the die-cast metal toy cars of the 20s and 30s), and pop culture boom (the character-focused toys of the 40s and 50s).
